Proppel was born from the desire to connect companies with outstanding overseas talent to help them grow faster. This is our founder’s story.
“I was born in Argentina, so I know the quality of the talent in Latam is outstanding.
Ever since I moved to the UK in 2015 and launched a marketing agency, I wanted to find a way to leverage talent from Latam to support my business.
It was a no-brainer: I could hire the best of the best while saving 80% in costs, as the cost of living there is significantly lower compared to the UK and the US.
Leveraging my connections with top businesses and universities in Argentina, and my knowledge of the country's economic, political, and social landscape, I began hiring employees there in 2020 to support my UK team, which allowed my business to grow faster and become more profitable.

You’ll hire and pay the employee directly as a contractor or through an Employer of Record. In most cases, we recommend you hire them as contractors as there are additional costs associated with using an EOR and the employee usually won’t mind.

We’re focused on full-time permanent positions for the majority of our clients. That said, we can accommodate specific requests in some cases. Let us know in advance if you’re looking to fill a temporary or part-time position.

The process usually takes 2 weeks, sometimes more, sometimes less. From enquiry to placement, the fastest we've been able to place a candidate so far has been only 4 days! In some cases, we’ll present the first candidates within days, and in others, we need a bit more time, depending on the complexity of the role. We’ll let you know how long we estimate it will take to place a candidate once we know what you’re looking for.

Depending on where you’re based, Latam’s time zone difference with the US goes from 2 hours behind to 4 hours ahead. Here are some examples:
🇦🇷 🇧🇷 Argentina & Brazil are 1 hour ahead of EST / 2 hours ahead of CST / 4 hours ahead of PST.
🇲🇽 Mexico is 2 hours behind EST / 1 hour behind CST / 1 hour ahead of PST.
🇨🇴 Colombia is 1 hour behind EST / Same time zone as CST / 2 hours ahead of PST.
