The challenge

Everything started with a post from our founder Leandro. In the post, he asked “Are you spending more than $800/mo in graphic design?” and showcased some examples of Performance Graphic Designers we had in our talent pool.

Shortly after, the founder of Y’all, a Performance Marketing Agency from Texas in the US, reached out to us and asked if we could find someone suitable for them.

They couldn’t believe they could hire an exceptional full-time new employee for just $800/mo.

We knew it was possible, so we got started straight away.

What’s a Performance Graphic Designer?

A Performance Graphic Designer is someone who can create outstanding graphic designs, with a focus on advertising. This includes everything from static ads to full landing pages and everything in between.

The solution

We started looking for the perfect candidate, and our recruitment team knew we had a couple of suitable candidates straight away. They were already in our talent pool as we had interviewed them a few days before.

We presented both profiles straight away, the client decided they wanted to interview one of them and gave us some dates and times when they could meet her.

We reached out to the candidates to organize the interview, and once the dates and times were confirmed with both, we put them in touch.

The client then had an interview with the candidate and really liked her. They asked her to do a test project of designing a couple of static ads using raw imagery they sent her, as a second step of the interview process.

The candidate started working on the project straight away and submitted it the next day. The client reviewed the submission and loved it, so they decided to send an offer letter on the same day.

The candidate was super happy with the offer and the match we found for her, and the client was very happy with the candidate we presented, so it was a win-win for everyone involved.

Timeline

👉 Day 1 - The client reaches out to us. We present 2 suitable candidates. The client decides they want to interview one of them and we reach out to the candidate to organize an interview.

👉 Day 2 - We set the interview for the day after and introduce the candidate to the client.

👉 Day 3 - The client interviews the candidate and shares a test project with her.

👉 Day 4 - The candidate submits the finished project. The client reviews it and sends her an offer letter. The candidate accepts the offer.

That’s how we placed a candidate in just 4 days!
