Proppel was born from the desire to connect companies with outstanding overseas support talent to help them grow faster. This is our founder’s story.

“I was born in Argentina, so I know the quality of the talent in Latam is outstanding.

Ever since I moved to the UK in 2015 and launched a marketing agency, I wanted to find a way to leverage talent from LATAM to support my business.

It was a no-brainer: I could hire the best of the best while saving 80% in costs, as the cost of living there is significantly lower.

Leveraging my connections with top businesses and universities in Argentina, and my knowledge of the country's economic, political, and social landscape, I began hiring candidates there in 2020 to support my UK team, which allowed my business to grow faster and become more profitable.

My only frustration after seeing the quality of the best candidates I interviewed was that I couldn’t hire them all!

  • You’ll hire and pay the employee directly as a contractor or through an Employer of Record. In most cases, we recommend you hire them as contractors as there are additional costs associated with using an EOR and the employee usually won’t mind.

  • We’re focused on full-time permanent positions for the majority of our clients. That said, we can accommodate specific requests in some cases. Let us know in advance if you’re looking to fill a temporary or part-time position.

  • The process usually takes 2-4 weeks. In most cases, we’ll be able to present the first candidates within 5 working days. From there, it’s up to you how fast we move, depending on how long your interview process is and how fast you can provide feedback.

  • Depending on where you’re based, LATAM’s time zone difference with the US goes from 2 hours behind to 4 hours ahead. Here are some examples:

    EDT is 1 hour behind Argentina & Brazil / 1 hour ahead of Colombia / 2 hours ahead of Mexico.

    CDT is 2 hours behind Argentina & Brazil / Same time zone as Colombia / 1 hour ahead of Mexico.

    PDT is 4 hours behind Argentina & Brazil / 2 hours behind Colombia / 1 hour behind Mexico.
